Light refreshments were served. I Society j Mr. and Mrs. Daunt Sanders were host and hostess to the members of the Tuesday Evening club Tuesday evening, and notwithstanding the inclemency in-clemency of the weather the ful' membership was preseiit and a delightful de-lightful time enjoyed. In the contest con-test for the honors at "500" Mrs. Ira Overfelt was winner o the lad1es prize, while Neil Sorenson was victor vic-tor for the trophy offered for the best gentleman player. Mrs Sanders served a delicious lunch and was assisted as-sisted by her mother, Mrs. Williarr Metcalf. The club will meet at th( home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Chris tensen Decembei 1. Vance Petersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Petersen of Centerfield, :ind Miss Elda Jorgenson of Redmond, Red-mond, were united in marriage a' Salt Lake last Wednesday afternoon The bride and groom were accompanied accompa-nied to the city by Mrs. Petersen anC Mrs. Jorgenson. The ceremony wat very quiet, only a few of the relatives rela-tives and most intimate friends of the contracting parties being present. Mr. and Mrs. Petersen will go to California Cal-ifornia for the winter and during their stay on the coast Mr. Petersen will take a special course in automobile automo-bile work. o Miss Thelma Hunt, for several months past stenographer at the Sugar factory, and Rolla Christen-sen, Christen-sen, a former employe of the same institution, were married in Salt Lake last Wednesday evening. Following Fol-lowing the ceremony the newly-weds left for California where they will |
