It is announced that an additional 50 cents per ton will be paid to sugar beet growers in Utah and Idaho this year. This will mean that on the average the farmers will receive $5.75 for their product. Dorris Folkman, aged 5, was seriously seri-ously burned at Plain City while celebrating cele-brating the Fourth. The child had lighted a match with the intention of starting a bonfire when her dress sleeve caught fire. The state board of examiners has appropriated $7,540 for the payment of the National Guard of Utah from the time that President Wilson order, ed mobilization until the tederal government gov-ernment took charge. Roy Allred's -body was discovered buried under six tons of rocks and dirt at the Phoenix Construction company's camp in Willow Creek canyon near Castle Gate.
