Show SHADE FOR WATER FOUNTAIN Sun-Warmed Water Is Liable to Cause Disorders in Old and Young Fowls in Flock. Sun-wanned water is apt to he the cause of diarrhea in old and young stock. Scald the water vessels every day, and keep them in the shade. A stoneware jug makes a good fountain in hot weather. Tip it until the jug's opening is just, below the rim of an earthenware flower-pot saucer. Scald frequently and put charcoal in the jug occasionally. A mason fruit jar also makes a good fountain. In buying a drinking fountain, get one which can he readily ch imed. Use washing soda to clean occasionally, and rinse well. A good s-.vei t-ner is j the sun.
