Show Bankers Feted at Ephraim The bankers of Sanpete county held their annual meeting in the city hall Friday afternoon and discussed matters mat-ters of interest to their profession and of importance in the promotion of the . general welfare of the county. At 2 o'clock an adjournment of one hour was taken and the captains of finance and some of their friends repaired to the Deil hotel where a banquet was served. It consisted of innumerable courses and included every delicacy known to the culinary art, comprising compris-ing oyster cocktails, turkey with dressing, dress-ing, ice cream and cake, and everything every-thing betwixt and between. Mayor Willardsen served as toast-master toast-master and extended the freedom of the to the visitors. Toasts were responded re-sponded to by Bishop Fjeldsted of .Centerfield, Captain Fred Jorgensen, H. C. Beaumann, cashier ofthe North Sanpete bank of Mt. Pleasant, T. D, Reese, Mr. Nelson of Ft. Green, Mr. Anderson, caslrier of the Bank of Moroni, Mo-roni, and Lewis Anderson of Manti, President of the Sanpete Couty Bank association. The local bankers,, including Vice-President Vice-President Willardsen, Cashier F. H. Rasmusson and W. G. Barton, and Mr. aud Mrs. Adams of the Deil hotel proved themselves to be royal entertainers enter-tainers and their hospitality received the unqualified approval of both local and out-of-town guests.
