Show ATHLETIC FEATURES FOR CELEBRATION One of the big features that will be pulled off at Salt Lake during the "Welcome Home" to the Utah Service Ser-vice men, will be the service men's games to be held at the fair grounds en October 9, beginning at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Gold watches are he awards that will be made to the winners of the first, second and third places and it is urged that each county coun-ty enter contestants in the various events. All men who have been in the service, whether professionals or not, may enter the contests and the only event that will be open is the five-mile A. A. U. championship, and this to registered 'athletes, whether service men or not. The schedule of the program for the occasion is 100 yards, 220 yards, half mile, one and two-mile races; running high jump, pole vault, grenade throwing, 5-mile A. A. U. championship and one-half mile relay race.
