The poor fellow struck his head a fearful blow on a cruel, hard rail. lie was knocked completely senseless and the blood spirted from the wound in his head. The train immediately pulled out and I saw no more. 1 guess the poor devil is dead before this." That same day Slierill'Loveland received re-ceived a message from Hot Springs, asking him to comedown and bring a doctor. But the wounded cripple was taken to Ogden. |
