Show Local Echoes. More visitors to the fair and conference con-ference have gone from Gunnison and neighbor' towns this fall than ever before on similar occasion. Mrs. John S. Peterson entertained on Monday evening. Among the guests were Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Ha-ean. Ha-ean. the occasion beinir to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Peterson, Pet-erson, her daughter Orvilla, and Dr. Hagan, all three having the same birthday. Mrs. Maria D. Kearns entertained a number of relatives and friends on Tuesday afternoon, the occasion of her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Kearns served a delicious luncheon to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. L. Ludvigson, Mr. and Mrs. William lletealf, F. Ludvigson, Mrs. C. N. Jensen, Mrs. J. A. Ilagan, Mrs. T. M. Kearns, Mrs. Leo N. Gledhill, Mrs. II. A. Kearns. A splendid gathering came to the farewell given Fred J. Fjeldsted last Friday evening at the R. S. hall. Besides Be-sides a fine musical program Mr. Fjeldsted gave a short talk and this ' was responded to with encouraging words from Bishop A. C. Fjeldsted of Centertield. Then refreshments were served and a short time spent in dancing. danc-ing. Several were present from Centerfleid. Cen-terfleid. A purse of $55.35 was pres-, pres-, ented to Mr. Fjeldsted, who is called i to labor as a missionary in the Northwestern North-western states for the L. D.
