Box Robbins paid Gunnison a brief visit during the week from Good-springs, Good-springs, Nevada where he lives and is interested in valuable mining claims Mr. and l;rs. L. H. A baby girl was born to the wife of Marlin E. Willardsen of this city, last Saturday Feb. 26th. Mr. and Mia, George Halverson gave parties Thursday and Friday evenings, when supper was served the guests after playing 500. Dr. Peck gave a splendid talk on lines of baby care yesterday at the R. S. baby day meeting. It is regretted re-gretted that more of the ladies were not present to hear Dr. Peck's lecture. Christenson. J. T. Jones, former cashier, of our local bank is again with us, and will stay for a prolonged visit as the home guest of his son, Cashier J. W. Joner who with his new bride, formerly Miss Jean Winder of Salt Lake Cit this wgek started housekeeping ano who are domiciled in the cozy home they purchased recently from John S. Peterson a block and a half east on First South. The elder Jones has been absent a few weeks touring California, Cal-ifornia, but is yet undetermined just where lie will locate permanently. The. Gunnison Irrigation company last Monday held a comparatively quiet election in the R. S. hall at the regular biennial meeting. The vote was light, while some ineffective scratching took place and the ticket carried as nominated J. M.Knighton Dr. J. J. Buswell, Ophthalmic specialist, or Salt Lake City, will be at the Edwards hotel Friday 2 p. m. until Saturday 2 p. m., March 3 and 4. No charge for testing eyes. References. Refer-ences. She has been absent all this week as a consequence. Miss Russell has our deepest sympathy in her bereavement.
