The Gunnison Valley Farmers' bureau at their meeting held here last Satu rday evening discussed several sev-eral important topics and selected committees essential to carrying on the work of the bureau. It was shown the sparrow is a menace to grain crops. Steps to destroy de-stroy them is to be given immediate attention. Poisoned wheat for such purpose mny be obtained at the Lincoln Lin-coln school building at the rate of ten cents a pint.. Another important action was that of providing for the selection and purchase pur-chase of suitable seed for the coming summer's crops and the lining up oi information for their proper raising and care. The bureau will hold meeting again next Tuesday and each Tuesday thereafter until the busy season sets in A debate was held in the meetinghouse meeting-house Wednesday evening by members mem-bers of the Elders' quorum, Alexus C. Jensen and Charles S. Hansen being be-ing for the affirmative against Clarence Clar-ence Tree and Leo Beck on the question: ques-tion: Resolved, that there has been no apostacy, but that the Kiiman Catholic Ca-tholic church lias held uninterrupted authority since it was first establish-i ed.
