Show Sterling Shows Youug People Royal Time. The Mutual Improvement associations associa-tions of the South Ssnpete stake held tbeir annual conference Sunday last, convening at Sterling. B. F. Grant and Mrs. Edith R. Lovesy of the general board were present from Salt Lake City aud each gave ..excellent addresses at the public meeting held ia the evening besides their supervision super-vision of the two day sessions, the work of which followed a previously arrau&ed program by the general board. The attendance was a splendid representation of the officers from each vard, the parts assigned oq the program being ably discussed. The people of Sterling acted a nobis part in caring for all tho visitors aud their teams. The hospitality at noon recess was most royal, tables being be-ing laid in one of the adjoining builcl-iags builcl-iags and about 150 people seated to a sumptuous banquet prepared by the good sisters of that ward. Bishop Olson displayed a generosity of the kind that invites one back and Sterling Sterl-ing ward will certuiuly be remembar-ed remembar-ed with much pleasantness for the good will and liberality shown in eating lor the convention. |
