Show Agent Overfelt's Father Called By Death. Following ' an illness of several months Stephen W. Overfelt on Sunday Sun-day last, September 10, 1911, answered answer-ed the final summons to a better world. The death of this generous hearted man, while not unexpeeied, was nevertheless received with sadness sad-ness by his relatives and friends. Deceased was a native of Missouri, departing this life at the age of 56. He paid a visit to this city last summer sum-mer and concluded to make his home here. Coming last spring he at once engaged in the dray business but soon met with an accident and ever since has gradually failed in health. until the final call. Stephen W. Overfelt leaves a wife and six grown children, of these a son besideB Ira residing in this city and a daughter, Mrs. Ted Okelberry, residing in Goshen, Utah county, He was a genial comganion in health and was affiliated with three fraternities, fraterni-ties, the Bankers' Life, the Coats of Honor, and the Modern Woodmen, The body was embalmed and shipped ship-ped Wednesday to Holliday, Monroe county, Mo. for burial, Rev. C. H. Hamilton in presenoa of the family and a few friends offering a brief dedicatory only, quarantine regular tlons on account of an existing contagion con-tagion excluding a more extended memorial which otherwise would hava taken place. Fix members of th local lodge of Modern Woodmen acted ns pallbearers. Sinoere condolence con-dolence is extended to the bereaved wife and family, |
