Show Famous Rifle Shot Suicides. L.os Angeles, Cal. Despondent because be-cause he was unable to regain his shattered fortune, W. R. Elliston, 3G years of age, scion of the famous family fam-ily of Tennessee, son-in-law of General Gen-eral W. L. Jackson, and known on two continents as a remarkable rifle and pistol shot, committed suicide at the Hotel Roslyn Thursday afternoon by firing a bullet from his favorite revolver into his brain. The body was found late at night when Elliston failed to answer a telephone call. |
