Show RELIEF SOCIETY ANNUAL. On Tuesday of this week the Belief Society of Gunnison ward had a decided de-cided time of rejoicing at the annual event commemorative of the original organization in Nauvoo, 111,, seventy-two seventy-two years previous. Meeting first in the afternoon the program with one or two exceptions was carried out as published in this paper a week ago, and it proved a most interesting one to those assembled. assem-bled. Light refreshments were served ' at the close. In the evening a dance was given, a crowded hall being the result. Lemonade and cake were served at intervals and a male quartet was rendered by E. L. Swalberg, N. Gled-hill, Gled-hill, E.H. Bird and K.H. Bird. Music for dancing was furnished by Bird's orchestra. |
