OCR Text	Show PUBLIC SCHOOL NOTES. Washington. Field day will be held by the school Thursday, May 9 at the park ground. Following are the events : 100 yard dash. 200 yard race. 100 yard hurdle, 9 hurdles, 3 feet. Standing broad jump. Running broad jump. High jump. Vaulting. Shot put, 8 pounds. Baseball. In the evening, at the opera house, all the gradeB will be represented in the following program : 1 Invocation. 2 Overture by the band. 3 Drills. Girls fancy costume drill. Boys sword drill. 4 Pantomime, "Je&us Lover of My Soul." 5 Operetta. 6 Band music. Found 5 small keys attached to a ring. Owner may oblaiu them by calling at the Gazette office
