Gos len, a well known sheepman on Tues day obtained an injunction against the state of Utah and the United States government to prevent the dipping dip-ping of hi3 22,000 head of sheep. The final decision may affect many sheepmen. sheep-men. When the sheep were driven from Mesa into Grand county Utah, tios-len tios-len was notified that he would be required re-quired to dip them in accordance with the new Utah law. He refused and appeared ap-peared before the Utah board of sheep commissioners and the federal inspectors inspec-tors in Salt Lake to protest. His protest pro-test was overruled and three inspectors inspec-tors werv sent to Thompson, near the Colorado line, with orders to swear in as many deputies as might be necessary neces-sary to use forcible means to dip the sheep.
