This is saying a whole lot but is the opinion of the architect himself. So Gunnison City cau congratulate itself upon this high ideal of the promoters which are composed of some of our own representative business men, including in-cluding the gtnial banker J. T. Jones of Kalispel, Montaua, who has now definitely decided to associate himself with the interests of this section, sec-tion, and help to bring it into the prominence which it so richly deserves. de-serves. This move on the part of the promoters of the banking interests of this section have now taken a step, which means so much for Gunnison Valley. This bank structure will be two stories high, and is to cost in the neighborhood of S1&.00O.00. It will have a basement which will be concrete con-crete through out. The material used in its construction will be pan iy mas. sive white rock and partly white pressed press-ed brick. It will be 25 feet front and 58 feet long. The lower floor will contain a spacious aud commodious reception room for the convenience and camfort of patrons, which will also be the directors room, while the uppgr floor will contain office rooms which will have all the modem con- veniences. An electric light system will be constructed throughout the building. The furniture will be furnished furn-ished by Whitcomb Cabinet Co., Kansas Oity, and will be massive and elegant, the best that money can buy. Altogether, the people ol Gunnison Valley may well congratulate themselves them-selves upon this important enterprise, which will be the etepimg stone to wards greater improvements all aloag the line. |
