Show Grain Interculture. In an experiment at Lisbon, N. D., , the yield of wheat by the Intercultural method, from 20 pounds of seed per acre was 27 bushels; from one-half bushel of barley per acre 54 bushels; bush-els; from three-fourths of a bushel of oats S2 bushels. These fields were cultivated six to eight times, depending depend-ing on conditions. By the ordinary methods the same year iya bushels of wheat seed as commonly sown per acre yielded 3 to 7 bushels; 2 bushels of barley seed yielded 6 to 15 bushels and 2 bushels of oat seed yielded 0 to 20 bushels per acre. |
