Boy Has Narrow Escape While gathering berries a short distance from the sheep camp which he and a companion were tending in Salina canyon Orlando Larson, a boy about seventeen years of age, missed his foothold bu the steep Bidehill and fell from a ledge of rock a distance of fifteen feet, bruising his head quite badly. The boy was aloue at the time and remained where he had fallen, about four hours unconscious. Reviving about sundown Larson managed by crawling to reach the camp, but not before about 2 o'clock in the night. He was taken home by his companion as hurriedly as possible, possi-ble, when the boy's father, Ole Larson Lar-son of Axtell, summoned at once Dr. Hagan of this city under whose skilful skil-ful attendance the yonng man is faat recovering from the severe injury he sustained. Being a solid rock where the boy Larson lit, the wonder is that he ia alive. |
