Show CASE POSTPONED. Judges Haven't Time to Hear Arguments Argu-ments in Merger Suit. Washington. The government case for the dissolution of the merger of the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Pa-cific railroads will be heard probably about October 1. The selection of a definite date and place wi'l be made by the judges of the Eighth circuit at St. Paul, Minn., in May. Announcement to the effect waa made at the department of justice on Monday. Attorney General Wicker-sham Wicker-sham received advices from Circuit Judge Vandeventer at Cheyenne that after correspondence with the other justices of the Eighth circuit, the court had determined to fix the hearing hear-ing for about October. |
