Show PUBLIC SCHOOL NOTES. Washington. ART EXHIBIT, The teachers, in their last meeting, decided to have a great art exhibit during the dates of February 14 to 17. The exhibit consists of 200 pictures, iu color and monotone. The subjects include beautiful reproductions of the standard art masterpieces of the world, iu painting, sculpture and architecture, aa well as the most beautiful of nature's scenery. The pictures are graded to the intelligence intelli-gence and ages of all. Ttio display will be at the Washington Wash-ington school. A small admission fee will be charged, the proceeds of which will go to a fund tbat will be used in purchasing some of the pictures for our school. We hope to spread happiness through a love of the beautiful in' art and in nature, and to arouse those those finer feelings which pictures aloue can arouse by silent appeal.
