Hall the annual oonerence in connection with the Mutual Improvement Improve-ment associations of the South Sanpete San-pete stake, displacing the regular ward service. The forenoon exercises were devoted principally to imparting of instructions to officers identified with the two associations who had ateembled from the various wards of the Btake and took plfice in the cen tral school building, the young ladies withdrawing after devotional exercises to aseerate room under the direction of thtir president Christine Willard-son. The evening session was given to addresses from members of the j association's general board residing at Salt Lake, namely Mrs. Lovesly on behalf of the young ladies and Seoretary Alpha J Higgs on behalf oi the young men, the latter detailing the reading course being outlined in connection with the coming season's work. Ed wardina Parry and Mies Sperry of Manti , and Miss Emily Larsoa of Gunnison contributed delightful intersperses os vocal selections, which were duly appreciated. |
