Show Tribute to Lorenzo Edwards. Following a lingering illness since last July death came to Lorenzo L Edw.irda early on Saturday morning last. From th nature of his ailment demise had been expected and the family surrounded the death bed with feelings of reconciliation to the inevitable. Funeral took place from the meeting meet-ing house Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Bishop Joseph Christenson in charge. The speakers were Elders N. C. Christensen, ex-bishop of Sterling, Sterl-ing, and Charles Jensen of Redmond, Bishop Christenson closing. Elder Jensen delivered a valuable funeral discourse, dwelling principally on the assurance of a literal resurrection. Singing was impressive, the selections selec-tions rendered being- at tha. special request of deceased, closing with a solo, "Sweet Spirit Hear My Prayer" by Miss Emily Larson. A large number of friends attended from various places and the assembly filled every available Bpacein the hall. A profusion of flowers attested the love and friendship felt toward the departed, who was esteemed in life as a sacrificing nelghber, congenial and upright in al! his dealings.
