Knighton, who was fifty-three years of age Tuesday, after retiring that evening was a-roused a-roused frcm his slumber by the appearance ap-pearance of some two dozen of his frieeds who had called to remind htm of the event. Mr. Knighton found no alternative but that of conforming to the situation and all had a good time at cards, music and like enjoyment enjoy-ment until a late hour.
