Show JEWISH COLONY HEADED FOR SUCCESS. The Jewish colony located on the Rest side of our valley is receiving a gOOil share of publicity through the press since settling last summer'. President Brown of the association has recently had an opportunity or expressing his views with respect to future plans and is quite liberally quoted by the state papers. Sunday's Herald-Republican contained a lengthy piece telling of the colony's proepects and how the Jews came to elect this place by means of persistent persist-ent publicity through the Salt Lake Commercial Olub bureau, the Utah Development league, Samuel New-house New-house and Governor Spry. President Brown is credited with aying : 1- ' 'The Jewish Agricultural and Colonnial association was formed in Philadelphia for the purpose of giving giv-ing the Jewish youth a chance to get 'back to the soil.' All the members mem-bers are of the Jewish faith and drawn from the great eastern cities, We hope to prove that a Jew can be independent, in-dependent, happy and successful on a farm.
