Show THE COUNTY COURT. Th Fanclhc Matter Settled-Klactloa Callad Corinne Road Claim Allowed. Court met Monday, Nov. 23rd. Full board present. Mr. Jarvis, in behalf of the citizens citi-zens of Corinne, asked that the city of Corinne be permitted to conduct the water to the north side of said city along the county road On motion of Mn, Baty, request was granted, provided city be responsible respon-sible for all damages of road. Judge Johnson was requested to see that a proper agreement between the city of Corinne and the county be made A communication from Hon. Elijah Sells, in answer to the question, ques-tion, ''Whether the election referred refer-red to in chapt. 55, Session Laws of 1890, is of the character of elections , contemplated in the Edmunds ; Tucker Law," was read. In the J opinion of the Secretary, the courts ' would hold, as they had already i held, in the school bond cases in Salt Lake City, that the election referred to in chapt. 55, Session Laws, is not of the character contemplated con-templated in the Congressional act referred to. Selectman Blackburn, in view of the many oral and written writ-ten applications asking for an election elec-tion for the purpose of deciding the fence or no fence question, moved that the Court call an election under chapt. 55, sec. 1, Session Laws of 1890, in order that the taxpayers tax-payers may decide the matter. , Motion carried, when the following order was made: That a special county election be held on the 2Sth day of December, 181)1, for the purpose of the tax-payers of Box Elder county voting upon the question, whether they are or sro not in favor of fencing their farms and allowing their animals to run at large, and that the County Clerk shall give notice as required by law. The Court ordered that the Assessor's maps be completed as soon as possible. Surveyor Andersen An-dersen was employed to do the platting plat-ting at 50 cents an hour, and Mr. Clawson to furnish abstracts at 40 cent? an hour. 1 CLAIMS ALLOWED : T. II.
