| Show folks around town by JANET HOWLAND I 1 am afraid that this week will be a very week concerning the social activities it looks like ye olde deer hunters have the spot light for the week saturday it looked like green riv er was really in n the red with all the red coats hats and shirts bobbing around however after the hunters were sent safely on their way we hope everything settled down to normal after the hunters have all returned we will no doubt hear about the big ones that got away but the outcome of the biggest little one that was actually killed will not be known un til the season ends when the winners will be given a trophy by batts mo bile station to place on their mantel for the widest spread and most po ints for 1955 mr and mrs otis marston from los angeles california a vis it to mr and mrs B J silliman last week mr marston is writing a his tory of the river expeditions on the colorado river also bob young assistant for the A E C stopped for a visit with the Sil limans mr and mrs H B wilson and fam ily from clearfield were weekend guests at the home of mrs wilson s parents mr and mrs wallace cur t the birthday club gave a party at the home of mrs ken silliman in honor of mrs scott anderson those present besides the g ests nests and the hostess were viola beebe billy dennison noreen wilson jackie daye dons doris and lucille suliman silliman |
