Show At Last THE summer is broken at last. It was postponed post-poned twenty days this year, and they were somewhat warm for this latitude. Eighty-seven days without a shower somewhat intensified the unpleasantness, but they were good for the farmers farm-ers in which to harvest their grain. No grain growing in the shock to bother them this year. Henceforth until after Thanksgiving day, if the year is normal we shall, with now and then a day's storm, have soft and pleasant days and cool nights. There may be a conference rain of two or three days, it will be necessary to remind old saints how it was before they had any tabernacle, taber-nacle, assembly hall or temple. However, it Is reasonable to believe that the declining summer may merge into a long autumn without very much more occasion to growl at the weather. |
