Show B Mining MINING men are confident that the men of means are growing more and more convinced M that, after all, good mining investments are the H safest that can be made. H The products of the field of course, are esson-H esson-H tial to life, but in the near future no more of them M will be bought than just enough to live comfort-M comfort-M ably. It is the same way with the products of H the factory. But there are no limitations on the H products of the mines. Then, too, the more the M mines can produce, the better will bo the market H for the field and factory products. H We look to see silver remonetized in the near H future despite the money-lenders, because all the M doleful predictions of 1893 regarding silver have H been proven to be falacies, and because the bur-B bur-B den of debt is even now threatening to cause that H financial pyramid which rests on a point of gold M to topple and fall. We hope that our government H will have the sagacity to see and act on the situa-H situa-H tion. But aside from that the mining industry is M about the safest that can be engaged in, for the H world needs the baser metals to perfect machinal machin-al ery and transportation so that food can be dis-M dis-M tributed at the least possible cost, and all that H men are able to purchase supplies at the least H possible cost. As to the precious metals the last H year has demonstrated what silver men have al-H al-H ways claimed, namely, that the utmost labor and H cupidity of man cannot supply enough of both to M 1111 the world's needs for money. |
