Also, his experi- ff ence in the house during the last session lends f him additional fitness for the higher office to ll which he now aspires. 11 Clarence Bamberger conies from one of Utah's most substantial and public-spirited families. He 11 was born in this city in 188G and received his Br earlier education in its public schools. He is a K I graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, and a grad- f uate of Cornell University with the E. M degree. t f After completing his studies at the latter instl- flj tution he went abroad and finished his studies In H mining engineering at the Royal School of Mines B in Berlin and the National School of Mines in H' Paris. Then he visited and examined the vari- tous mining districts in Europe, Mexico, and the British Isles. Today Mr. Bamberger is recognized as one of the best posted mining engineers and operators in the western country. His associates are heav- l ily interested in the mining industry in this state B and he is cognizant of the local conditions sur- w rounding the industry. Hence, he is in rare posl- B tion to champion the combined cause of the mine H . operator and the miner. And he does so with- H out fear or favor to either.
