Show HAPPENINGS AND WHEREABOUTS. Mrs. John Reed entertained at a delightful bridge party and lui cheon at her home in the Mozart apartments on Wednesday, in honor of Mrs. Fred A. Bull of San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Brown have returned from Pittsburg and are at home at 1081 2nd avenue. Mrs. J. F. Dunn and the Misses Edna and Margaret Dunn are visiting in San Francisco. Mr. Harold Lamb has gone to Del Monte, California, to attend the golf tournament. Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Sherman, who have been visiting Mrs. George J. Gibson, will leave for Washington, D. C, shortly. Mrs. Noble Warrum has returned from Indianapolis. In-dianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Keyser entertained at a delightful dinner at the Utah hotel on Tuesday evening for a dozen friends. Mass Lucy Wardrop entertained informally at her home on Monday evening in honor of Miss Rachael Wardrop. Mrs. Wm. J. Sharp was the hostess at a beau-tilul beau-tilul luncheon at the Utah hotel on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Sloan are now at home at 551 East South Temple street, having given up their country home until spring. In honor of Mrs. H. Vance Lane, Mrs. Richard A. Keyes entertained at a luncheon and bridge party at the Country club on Wednesday. Colonel and Mrs. Joseph A. Daynes and Mrs. and Mrs. J. E. Jennings entertained their friends at a lawn fete and musicale at the Daynes home on South Fifth East street on Wednesday even- ing. $&J Mr. and Mrs. Stephen H. Love have announced an-nounced the engagement of their daughter, Lou, to E. C. Fullmer. The wedding will take place in September. Cards announcing the marriage of Miss Carrie Car-rie Colbath, formerly of this city, to Daniel Mullen of San Raphael, Calif., have been received by the bride's friends here. Miss Colbath is one of the most popular girls in the younger set and her marriage was a surprise to all but her intimate friends. Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Judge and Mrs. Judge's sister, Miss Wymond of Kentucky, have returned from a vacation spent in the Yellowstone and the northwest, where they, with the Lewis Mc-Cornicks, Mc-Cornicks, were the guests of D. C. Jackling in his private car "Cypress." Mr. Jackling left the party at San Francisco to attend to some business busi-ness matters in Arizona. Mr. W. W. Armstrong and Mr. W. H. Cunningham Cun-ningham have returned from1 California, Among those who entertained at luncheon at the Country club on Wednesday were Mrs. Frank Knox. Mrs. A. M. Wrench, Mrs. F. J. Gus-tin, Gus-tin, Mrs. R. C. Gemmell, and Miss Marshall. 1 Dr. F. S. Bascom will go to Portland shortly, J where he will join Mrs. Bascom and Mr. and Mrs. Senter Walker. They will sail for Alaska September 1st. In honor of Mrs. J. B. Cosgriff, Mrs. W. Edward Ed-ward Fife will entertain at a bridge tea this .tfternioon. Mrs. W. H. Bintz, Jr., entertained informally at her apartments in the Sampson on Wednesday. Wednes-day. Miss Bonita Pettijohn and her mother, Mrs. N J. Pettijohn, of Kansas City, have gone to Brighton, where they will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilmer for a few days. Upon their return they will spend a few days more with Mr. and Mrs. Dean C. Brayton and later go to San Francisco. Mrs. George Auerbach and Miss Minette Baer have returned from Brighton. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Walker, the.
