Show AT LAST. "When the local traveler goes away from town in search of something different to please the eye, the ear, and incidentally the stomach, the usual remark, upon looking over the a la carte bill at a popular caravansary is, "Why can't we have something some-thing like this in Salt Lake?" - The question has at last been answered in the Kenyon (new) Cafe, which has recently been added to that hostelry, where an a la carte Jbill is served at all hours, and nothing to compare with it can be found between St. Louis and San Francisco. And this Is said by epicures who know, who have enjoyed the meals, gloried in the skill of the master in the cuisine, the beauty and freshness fresh-ness of the spotless napery, the artistic in the Mission Mis-sion lights, the silver, and the dainty dishes; and they have thanked their stars for a service unequalled un-equalled outside of the big cities. The cafe is r rlace where you can take your mother, or siste., or anyone, and be assured of. - the best of everything. It is not simply a place ' ( to lunch in, but an attractive cafe, with the pret- ' tiest of surroundings, and there is nothing in the best markets that cannot always be had for the 1 asking. The substantial things of life are much in evidence, evi-dence, the nicest of everything from land and sea, and, in fact, this is one place in the city where you need not be ashamed to take the bon vlvant who is visiting from the other places where they serye things as they should. The Kenyon's new departure has added some- thing that has been needed for many monthB, and the excellence of it all assures its complete success. |
