Show J Come to think of it, the Church ought not to fight Mr. Thompson and an American council very hard. If Mr. Thompson is elected Mayor j and he is backed by a council that will second his efforts for the City's advancement, a good i many saints will next year sell city lots here that j they have waited for a long time to sell. And j they will get 20 per cent more for them, in many ; cases 50 per cent more for them, than they pos- j sibly can if Mr. Morris is re-elected. Such sales will bring a substantial gain to the exchequer of the. Church. The Church has an eye to business. Is not the above view of the case worth considering? |
