Show HAPPENINGS AND WHEREABOUTS. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Siegel have returned to the city and are at home for the winter at 337 East Third South. Miss Marjorie Dey, who has spent the summer in Wisconsin, has returned. Mrs. O. W. Powers is home from the east after several weeks spent in Detroit and Chicago. Mrs. Joseph E. Jennings and family have gone to Los Angeles, where they will reside. Mr. and Mrs. James Hogle have returned from their wedding trip and a'e at home at the Caithness Caith-ness apartments. Mrs. Windsor V. Rice entertained at a delightful delight-ful bridge tea at her homo on Tuesday. Mrs. George P. Ilolman was the hostess at a bridge tea J her residence Thursday afternoon. The Misses Gladys and Marguerite Richmond entertained at cards Friday afternoon in honor of Miss Nellie Calvin of San Francisco. An interesting wedding of the week was that of Miss Nellie Nicholson and Harry P. Poll, which bride's sister, Mrs. J. M. Weiler. A reception followed fol-lowed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Max Figman and Miss Lackaye were the guests of honor at an Informal affair at the home of Mrs. J. R. Armstrong, Mrs. Arthur Bird entertained at luncheon at the Country club on Wednesday. Mrs. M. M. Murtaugh and her sister, Miss Catherine Ford, have returned from the east. Lieutenant and Mrs. Clark R. E.liott entertained enter-tained at dinner on Tuesday evening in honor of Mrs. Holcomb. Mrs. E. A. Wall and the Misses Wall will entertain en-tertain on Tuesday and Thursday next week at bridge teas at the Country club. Miss Bryan Houston entertained on Wednesday Wednes-day at a bridge tea at the Bransford. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. McCune, Jr., will spend the winter in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert McMillan are now at home at 705 East Second South. Mrs. H. D. Niles and Miss Niles have returned from an eastern trip. Mrs. Moylan C. Fox is here from Oakland, and Mr. and Mrs. 'Fox, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Fox will be at home for the winter at 950 East First South. Mrs. J. T. Harris and her children will arrive here soon to spend the holidays with Colonel and Mrs. Edwin F. Holmes. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shaughnessy will be at home shortly at 643 East Second South. Colonel and Mrs. Edwin F. Ho'.mes entertained at a delightful supper following the Monday night concert. Covers were laid for sixteen. Mr. Arthur Callaghan has returned from San Francisco. Mrs. Callaghan and son will be home from the east today. Miss Marjorie Howard and Miss Ollie Wall will entertain a number of their friends on Monday at a Hallowe'en party, the date being that of their birthdays as well. The youngsters will enjoy a luncheon and later attend the matinee at the Or-pheum. Or-pheum. Mrs. Ben Davis gave a luncheon at the Country Coun-try club on Wednesday. Mrs. Bismarck Snyder entertained ner bridge club on Wednesday. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. J. C. Lynch. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Conn, Miss Edna Cohn and their neice, Miss Stella Cohn, have arrived in New York and will return here next week. Dr. and Mrs. W. S. Ellerbeck have returned from New York. Mrs. W. H. Dickson, who has spent part of the summer in Canada, has returned and is at home with her daughter, Mrs. Russell G. Schulder. Mr. and Mrs. W. C.'
