Bo It ordained by tho City Council of Salt Lako City, Utah: SECTION 1. That tho City Council does hereby levy tho tax and provide for tho assessment of tho same upon tho property hereinafter described In Sower District No. 2, for the construction construc-tion of sewers, to-wlt: In Lots 5, G, 7 and 8, Block 20; 1 and 2, Block 35; 1, B, 6, 7 and 8, Block 3; and 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8, Block 1C, all In Plat "A," abutting on both sides of Sixth South Street between State and Second East Streets; on both sides of Eighth South Street between Main (formerly East Temple) and State Streets; and on tho west sldo of State Street between be-tween Seventh South and Ninth South Streets. This tax is levied to fray tho expense ex-pense of constructlr .-ltrlfled pipe sewers eight (8) Inches in dlamoter upon tho portions of said streets opposite op-posite tho property hereinbefore and hereinafter dcslrlbcd to bo especially affected and benefited by said Improvement, Improve-ment, and It Is hereby adjudged, determined deter-mined and established that said property prop-erty will bo especially benefited thereby to tho full amount of tho tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land aro hereby assessed at an equal and uniform uni-form rate In accordance with tho linear foot frontage upon said portions of said stieots fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-flvo (25) foot back therefrom, there-from, and tho tax hereby levied and to bo assessed upon said parcels of land Is flvo thousand six hundred thirteen and 25-100 (?5,C13.25) dollars, or one and 492885G-10000000 ($1.492885G) dollars dol-lars per front or linear foot of abutting property for sowers on said portions of tho streets abovo mentioned In Sew er District "No. 2, there being 37G0 feet of abutting property within tho boundaries boun-daries of tho lots, block and streets abovo mentioned, which Is tho total cost and cost per front foot of said sowers according to tho contract entered en-tered into for tho performance of said work and making said improvement, with James Kennedy, dated tho 4th day of May, 1908, and tho Treasurer Is hereby authorized and directed to assess as-sess in accordance with tho provisions of this ordlnanco for tho purpose heroin hero-in mentioned: Fronting on Sixth South Street. Tho east J305 feet of Lot 5, and the west 305 feet of Lot G, Block 3; the west 140 feet of Lot 1, tho east 14f i feet of Lot 4, and all of Lots 2 and 3, I Block 1G, Plat "A." Fronting on State Street.
