Show A strange coincidence to which the attention of Mr. Kearns is respectfully called is that within a day or two after the Tribune broke adrift from Its alleged Republican moorings, Henry Peery, Democratic national committeeman for Utah, left for the east to confer with the national Democratic Demo-cratic leaders. As the aim of Mr. Peery and Mr Koarns appears to be identical the defeat cf the Republican party in Utah It is presumed that the two are in close telegraphic touch since Mr Peery's departure. It should be extremely gratify Ing to Mr. Kearns to learn that Mr. Peery left with a large budget of clippings from the bolting organ, which will probably bo exploited before Chairman Taggart and the members of the Na tional Democratic committee. The object will, of course, be to show that, with a United States Sen ator and the former Republican organ assaulting the Republican ticket, the Democrats have an extremely good chance of winning In the state Tho result will be that the Democrats will redou ble their activities here, and will expend much more money in Utah than was originally in tended. This state of affairs, jeopardizing the national na-tional as well as state tickets, is due solely to the selfish and sinister efforts of Senator Kearns, and if his conspiracy is successful, ho above all other Continued on page G.) !l I Politics Continued.
