Show It is time for our first heavy rain. The sky is beginning to wear its storm coat and the winds indicate that there is "something in the air." Indeed, In-deed, except for the Elks coming we should have had the storm last week. The Elks and the restraining re-straining order of Judge Morse were too much for the elements. This coming winter ought to be a wet one. For five years past the usual average of precipitation has fallen short and all the region between the Rockies and Sierra Nevadas is parched almost to a -crisp. |
