Show A Mr. Jesse B. Burgster, a tourist evidently, has been in Salt Lake, and writes his impressions to a North Dakota paper, from this city. He was shown around here and one of his entertainers was Apostle John Henry Smith. He says in his letter that the Apostle claims that "the reverence of children to parents, love of country and the purity of life of the men and women is higher among the Latter-day Saints of the Church of Jesus Christ than among any other religious denomination." de-nomination." It is not of very great consequence, but John Henry, when he spins yarns of that kind to strangers should back his words by some shadow of proof. Where could he get that proof? Has he found that the children born in polygamy are so proud of their parentage that they overflow with reverence tor their parents? Then as to love of country. When did that begin?
