H By resolution it was unanimously decided that H they would ask for one county commissioner, the jH assessor, one state senator and four members of ! (the lower house. C. M. Brown was endorsed for H assessor, B. B. Bitner, the other candidate refus- H ing to allow his name to go before the caucus, H although ho will be a candidate before the con- H vention. J. C. H gates held a convention for the nomination of a j H counlty school superintendent, J. W. Smith of i H Draper defeating B. W. Ashton for the nomina- 'H n on the close vote of 64 to 57.
