Show PMS Workshop Set at.SUSC v (i CEDAR CITY A workshop dealing with Premenstrual Syndrome Syn-drome (PMS) will take place Oct. 12, 19 and 26 in the library seminar room at Southern Utah State College. Sponsored by the SUSC Division of Continuing Eduation, the workshop will take place from 1:30-3 p.m. and will follow a group discussion format. for-mat. The cost is $15. Kay Messerly, director of student health services, said the workshop is open to anyone who would like to learn more about PMS and now to deal with the problem. During the first hour of class, Messerly will discuss the social implications, the anatomy and physiology of PMS, and how women and others can deal with PMS. The rest of the time will be used for questions and open discussion. "There is more of an incidence of PMS than most people think. The workshop will teach individuals how to deal with the problem," Messerly said. "There are a lot of things that can be done to help." Participants can register in the Old Administration 203 prior to the workshop or at the first class session. |
