Show He Says The 'Village Idiot Choir9 Is Shrinking When are the Kane and Garfield County commissioners going to put away their petty squabbles and get back to the business of doing constructive work for the people? Haven't we had enough of you-did-this-they-did-that accusations! It seems one Garfield County Commissioner Dell LeFevre and Representative Senator Tom Hatch have seen the light and didn't bother to sign this last diatribe against the GSENM management printed in the Southern Utah News and the Garfield County News So enough already, let's see some positive accomplishment for the people of these counties. What about the development of recreation recre-ation centers like Kaneplex? Why not study the new economics econom-ics of the West? How can we make our communities more friendly and cooperative? How can we improve our quality of life? How can we better educate our youth? We can disagree, that's healthy. But we can also agree. We want clean air. We want clean water. We want safe streets. We all want to be happy. Well, if we can learn to respect each other for our differences we can learn to get along and then everyone benefits. Russell M. Beesley Kanab (Editor's Note: Mr. Beesley refers to an Oct. 9 article containing con-taining in full a letter submitted by Kane County Commissioner Mark Habbeshaw signed by State Representative Mike Noel, three Kane County commissioners, commission-ers, two Garfield County commissioners, com-missioners, and the mayor of Kanab. Contacted following publication, Habbeshaw explained that he had been unable to contact either of the two men Beesley refers to in time to meet newspaper deadlines. dead-lines. Mr. Beesley acknowledges in a published letter to the "Spectrum" (demeaning . to local area residents) that he is a member of SUWA.
