Show Area Obituaries Elizabeth Husband Payne PANGUITCH - Elizabeth Husband Payne, 85, passed away Feb. 17, 2005 in Panguitch. She was born Dec. 18, 1919 in Oakland, Calif, to Robert F. Husband and Mary A. Adams. She married Euell G. Payne, Jr. on Dec. 7, 1941 in Oakland, Calif. He preceded her in death. Elizabeth went to Technical High School in Oakland, Calif. She worked as a retail clerk for 40 years. She was a member of the New Beginning Baptist Church. She is survived by her children Eunice (Lester) Burr of Syracuse, Utah; Emmie (Steven) Parks of Oroville, Calif.; Euell "Sonny" (Doreene) PANGUITCH - James Carl Bourland, 88, of Panguitch passed away Feb. 4, 2005 in Cedar City. He was born Jan. 14, 1917 in Floyd County, Tex. to Thomas Leeander and Josephine McLarty Bourland. He married Dicie Maggie Johnson, who precedes him in death. James served in WWII with ;','.- " "' I f. .,, .. -i ' "V;.;. i Elizabeth Payne Payne of San Pablo, Calif.; and David Payne of Panguitch; m: .... AL-. I Richard "Red" Fox Odgen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola, in 1974; parents; one grandson, Wendal Richard Fox, one great-grandson, Brandon Michael Turley, and three brothers and three sisters. Richard was a member of the the 416th Bombardment Group in England. He was awarded numerous citations and honors. He worked 30 years as a union carpenter. His passion was thoroughbred thor-oughbred race horses. His survivors sur-vivors include his sons Dan Ray of Panguitch and James Carl, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama; four grandchildren, Katrina, James, Danny and Jeff. He was deeply seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and sister Mary Nichols of San Pablo, Calif. She was preceded in death by brothers Charles W. Husband and Robert L. Husband, and sister sis-ter Mildred M. Baldwin. Visitation was held just prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005 at the Wilson & Kratzer Mortuary Mission Bells Chapel, 13644 San Pablo Ave., San Pablo, Calif. 'Red' Fox CIRCLEVILLE - Richard W. "Red" Fox passed away February 17, 2005 in St. George, Utah, at the Kolob Care Center. Richard was born in Circleville, Utah, to George Henry and Ida Menetta Nay Fox, on April 24, 1915. He married mar-ried Ola Leweyn Watts of Kanosh, Utah, on July 3, 1942, and it was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on March 1, 1951. They raised four children: Lynda Menetta (Rodney) Conder of Barstow, Calif., Charles Richard (Diana Dalton) Fox of Las Vegas, Nev,, Marlon Woodrow (LeAnn Luke) Fox of St. George, Utah, and Barbara Camille (Eldon) Christensen of Fillmore, Utah. He is survived by their four children, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, broth-ers, Shirl D. (Elna) Fox of Circleville, and Floyd (Pat) Fox of St. George; two sisters, Thelma (Owen) Rust of St. George, and Edith Dalton, of UA Pipefitters (and welders) Local 57 in Salt Lake City for 50 years. He worked on construction projects throughout the western United States. He loved and cherished his family and has many memorable experiences of the time spent in the outdoors with them hunting, fishing, and prospecting. The family wishes to express thanks to Kolob Care Center, Rocky Mountain Hospice, and Legacy House for their loving care and service. We also express our gratitude to Magleby & Sons Mortuary for their services. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005 at 12:00 Noon in the Circleville Ward Chapel.
