Show fintimony Hews By Betty Wiley 624-3215 We have had several visitors here in town this week. Greg and Cindy Black have been here with their family visiting with the Burns Blacks. Also, Burns has the Collinses here for a few days helping at the Rockin'R. Visiting in LDS church meetings meet-ings Sunday were relatives of the Sam Gleave family Mary Dell Gleave Lindgren and son and daughter-in-law Ole and Kendra Lindgren and children. They came from An-nabella An-nabella to enjoy the beautiful day as it was Stake Conference for their LDS Ward. They planned a picnic after church. Verlene Gleave is going to St. George with Barbara Gleave to be with her daughter Nedra Abraham who is having sinus surgery. In LDS sacrament meeting on Sunday, Barbara Gleave was released re-leased from her calling as Compassionate Compas-sionate Service Director. Marge Robinson was sustained in her i place. Bernice Jolley was sustained, as Homemaking Night leader; Holly Westwood was sustained as C Den leader; and Robbie Gleave was sustained as a teacher in Sunday Sun-day school. It seems good to see Jerry Savage Sav-age out again. He has had surgery twice in Cedar City but he has been given a clean bill of health and cxan go back to work. On Monday Van and Betty Wiley traveled to Lomita, Calif, to visit their brother and sister-in-law Doyle and Lalli Coppinger. Hur-schel, Hur-schel, Chloris and son Gary Coppinger Cop-pinger drove from Cortez on Monday Mon-day where the Wileys joined them for a good visit. Their daughter Suzanne Martin also came. It has been several years since they haj seen their other brother. |
