Show By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Evelyn Heaton had most of her family here this past weekend week-end to visit and attend the wedding wed-ding and reception held at Ruby's Inn, Saturday evening when Krystal Shakespeare, granddaughter of Evelyn Heaton and Louise England and great-granddaughter of Ora Brinkerhoff, became the bride of Jared Johnson of Trementon. Family members here were Larry and Bonnie Heaton and family of St. George; Stan and Anna Johnson and family of Las Vegas, Nev.; Chris and Billie Heaton and daughter of Enoch; John and Vicki Heaton, son Luke and his wife, Jacklyn of Cedar City and also Larry's daughter, Betsy Garner of LaVerkin. Bea Reynolds also had her family members to visit and attend the wedding, Wayne and Kathy and two sons of McCall, Ida. who are spending their vacation in southern Utah. They also visited in Cedar City with won, Dayne and daughter, Stephanie, then on to St. George to visit son, Brett Reynolds. They will come back to Bea's for a few days before heading back to Idaho. Their two sons love to climb the red rock and the white hill, which is a new adventure for them. In McCall they have dense forests. John and Ramona Morreale went to West Valley to visit with their children, Michael and Christina Labrum and Jeremy and Sarah Moss and to help Christina celebrate her birthday on Monday. They also visited Ramona's aunt, Lena Butcher in Junction and her sister, LaDona Christensen in Marvsvale. It was a very pleasant trip. Joe and Rae Hughes went Cedar City on business one day last week. Recently AC and Rita Hammer met her sisters, Catherine Nyggard of Albuquerque, NM and Ann and husband, Jim Leigh of Kansas City, MO for a few enjoyable days in Palm Dessert, Calif. While there, they visited Joshua Tree National Park. The cowboys have been very busy getting their cows off the winter range. A group of students from here, Mikki Thompson, Robby McCormick, Raphael Morreale, McKay Thompson and Spencer Harmon went to Provo to attend the FECLA Convention. We are proud of these young people and appreciate what they do to help us to become more aware of how our government works and what we, as campaigners and electors can do to help. There is still quite a lot of sickness in the area. I don't know if it is allergy caused by the profusion of apricot and other fruit blossoms, or it may be due to a virus, but it isn't too easy on us. Don and Merle Allen of Fredonia, Ariz, spent Friday night at the home of her sister, Bea Reynolds. Vaughn Twitchell, who has been working at the St. George LDS Temple has returned home to plant and raise his garden and mow lawns. Thanks to those who contributed con-tributed their news and I would appreciate having all who have contributions for our Cannonville column to please call me or stop by and drop it off. |
