Center Street in Panguitch. The free event ideal for families, scout groups and budding bud-ding scientists of all ages offers a variety of opportunities for kids to discover Utah's natural natu-ral history. Everyone who attends will receive a coupon for free admission admis-sion to the museum and can enter to win prize drawings, including annual family memberships mem-berships to the Utah Museum of Natural History at the University of Utah. The event will be hosted by honorary guests Senator Tom Hatch and Representative Mike Noel. The Field Camp Adventure also coincides with the Traveling Treasures: Finds from the Field exhibit on display at the Panguitch Zions Bank office. Open to the public during regular business hours for the entire month of April, the free exhibit highlights local research projects by museum curators and features dinosaur bones, plant specimens and Native American artifacts. "We're excited to host the Field Camp Adventure so that families can visit our office and discover treasures from the state's natural history museum. It's what community banking is all about," said Rick Blackwell, Zions Bank's Panguitch branch manager. |
