Show CMMMJVILLn uuws By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 The last word I heard of Jim Clarke is that LaMar and Ethel LeFevre went to Salt Lake City on Tuesday to check on him. They report that he was propped up on his pillows to a sitting position and seemed to be in good spirits. He said he will be in the hospital several more days and will be okay before he can leave Salt Lake City. Our love and best wishes go to him and Erma at this time and we will be happy when they can come home again. Vaughn and Mae Twitchell had most of their family here to visit and to attend the William Patterson Willis reunion on Saturday. Doug and Tammy Twitchell and family and Karl and Lori Munford and family came from Cedar City; Craig and Lee Twitchell came from New Harmony; Clara Emmett, a daughter of Mae's sister, Gretha Ewer, came from Logan and brought her two daughters, Sheri and Amy with her. The reunion was held at the Cannonville Park with quite a number of relatives attending. Bill and Bonnie Nelson had family members spend the holiday holi-day weekend at their house. Here were Jack and Gay Nelson, son Craig, daughter Jill and her husband, Bryan came from Logandale, Nev.; Jim and June Anne Miller and Clint and Jolene Pollock and daughter, Alana of Panguitch. They had a barbecue dinner at the home of Mark and Loni Nelson. Howard and Dorothy Leavitt were visited by daughter and son-in-law, Launa and Monte West and son, Bryce of Salt Lake City and Kelly and Wally , Lee and children of Panguitch: They also enjoyed a barbecue dinner and visit. We were saddened to hear of the death of Ardis Johnson Evans, one of our own who grew up here and we send our love and condolences to the family. Also we express our sympathy to Sam Pollock and his family in the loss of their dear wife and mother, LaRae Pollock. Erica Racker's sons, David and Michael spent the weekend here with her and their grandparents. grand-parents. They spent an enjoyable enjoy-able day at the Stubbs Farm where they rode horses and even saw a buffalo. Nice things for "show and tell" back at school. Bonnie Willis had visits from KayMar and Mary Jean Willis and children Kent, Koby, Kami and Koye. Also granddaughter Alesha Willis came from Cedar City. While a Philmont Scout Ranch, Mel and Phyllis Beard received word that an infant granddaughter had died. The Beards flew to New Jersey to spend a week with the family. Coming home they spent a day with the Kau grandchildren and their daughter, Melanie hiking at Cascade Springs. There they met Myrna Fletcher Christensen and daughter, Kathy and her husband. They live in Detroit, Mich. It's a small world as they started talking and found out they knew many of the same people since Myrna grew up here and is a sister to Larry and Alma Fletcher and Ramona Morreale.
