To start off, the Evans reunion was held at Red Point with a very large crwod attending. attend-ing. Ed and Gai Moore, Tina and Richard Bronson, Rich and Ireta Tubbs, and Tony and Lori Evans, St. George, were there, along with Barton LaVell and Barbara Swapp, Mae Swapp, Penny Evans, Faye Evans, Jeff and Kathy Evans, Bob Wilson, Merlene Cameron Huggine, Evan Wilcock, Dwayne and Tracy Davis, Roger and Sara Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Evans, all Salt Lake City; Sandra and Greg Evans, Sandra and Rod Kammska, and Greg and Gloria Evans, Vaughn and Dawn Evans, Kirk and Gloria Evans, and Brent and Diane Evans, Logandale, Nev.; Gearald and Hope Robinson, Deloy and Joleene Evans, Hurricane; Wayne and Pam Stubbs, Parowan; Shan and Gib Clark, Kanab; Clark and Elsie Evans, Washington City; Scott and Myra McGavin, Jary Loffman, and Rodney and Linda Swapp, Sandy; and Harriet and Ramon Swapp, Jason and Diane Swapp, Josh and Cheryl Swapp, Fairview. Others who were there included Steven and Louella Evans, Enterprise; and Denise Halthouse of Idaho. From Cedar City came Travis and Teressa Clark, Judy and Lamon Davis, Gail Davis, Sherry and Heather Black, Janet LeFevre and Velma Lott; and from Panguitch, Bruce and Bonnie Dalton, Al and Jeanne Russo Whalen, Sal Luca, Karleta Riggs Ileta and Pat Dix, and Norma Talbot; Whitney Syrett, Bryce; Michelle Robinson.West Valley; and Ron and Virginia Young of Las Vegas, Nev.; Coming from out of state were Roy and Rena Gish of Belcher, La.; and Mike and Tamera Bailey of Peoria, Ariz. .... and all of their children, in-laws, and the whole caboodle. caboo-dle. Funeral services were held for Ardis J. Evans on Sept. 4 at the Hatch LDS Ward Chapel. She was the daughter of Irving Ammon and Daisie LaVetta Johnson and the wife of Robert B. Evans. Visitors at the Leland Riggs home were Robert Craw of Minersville and Janice Ross and children of Boulder City, Nev. Omega Campbell of St. George was here at her home. Those who visited with her were Trudy Fagg, Cedar City; Mertle Robinson, Enoch; and Konnie Taylor, and LaRue Holt, St. George. Here at their cabins were Ivor and Elaine Riggs and Deuard and Donna Riggs. Jerry Riggs also was here fixing up his home. Valeene Roberts, Antimony; Verlene Gleaves; and Tracy and Elliott Matheson visited with May Sawyer. Cliff and Kerry Sawyer of Ogden and her father visited friends and family. Reva and Kay Alexander visited vis-ited with friends and family. They attended the Burrows reunion. Layne and Cathaline Burrows, : and Calene and Jene Ramsay and two boys, Kanab; Viola and : Irving Rose, Henrieville; their daughter and son-in-law, Tom and Janice and Cal and Carol Burrows, and Merrill Burrows and children, Hatch; Chrisie ; Jessie and children, and Clint and Lanice Spendlove and chil- dren, Hurricane. Tom and Nancy Warren had a ! whole yard full of motor homes and trailers. Deloy Evans and Ireta Tubbs, Hurricane and St. George, brought Noreen Evans of St. . ' George to the funeral. Doug and Eva Evans of . Fredonia, Ariz., visited with Bob Evans. Ann Farnsworth and Cindy Leach visited with family on Wednesday. Laretta Crofts of Orderville visited with family and friends. Janet Houston of Richfield visited with Darol and Beth Allred. Joyce Warby and Janet Le Fevre of Cedar City were here on Wednesday visiting. Layton and Floriene Barney went to St. George to see the doctor. The Hatch LDS Ward Relief Society and Young Women had a social. They played Bunco and had yummy food to eat. Mervin and Lorna Barnhurst attended the 80th birthday of Glenna Pollock in Tropic. The Barnhurst, family went on a camping trip to Boulder Mountain. They fished and about walked themselves ragged. The infant son of Eddie and Kim Hamblin was blessed and given the name of Rylee KyranHamblin on Sept. 4. He was blessed by his father Eddie Hamblin. Lee Porter and Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Porter and little girl of Orem were here building on a shed to house a four wheeler. Ileta and Pat Dix visited with May Sawyer and Kurt and Brett Sawyer. Kurt and Brett Sawyer of Mesquite visited with May Sawyer Sunday and Monday. |
