Show Workshop On Tree Care Set For Feb. 19. PANGUITCH - TreeUtah will hold Community Tree Care Workshops in Panguitch on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Triple C Arena. The workshops will cover many topics including includ-ing planting, watering, pruning and water conservation. Tree Utah is a statewide, non-profit organization dedicated to urban forestry, habitat restoration and education. Since its inception in 1989, TreeUtah has worked with over 40.000 volunteers to plant over 250,000 trees. Panguitch Main Street. Inc. received a grant from TreeUtah last year which they used to plant over 30 trees along their main streets and parks. Main Street is proud to be working with TreeUtah to bring this workshop to our small southern Utah communities. The afternoon workshop is a municipal workshop and is designed for those responsible for areas with public trees. This workshop runs from noon until 5 p.m., with registration beginning begin-ning at 11:30 a.m. The evening workshop is designed for the homeowner and will run from 6 to 8 p.m., with registration beginning at 5:30 p.m. Registration at the door is only $20 for a seminar packed with all the information you need to keep your trees and shrubs thriving!
