Show Marva Fletcher 679-8521 A large crows attended the funeral fu-neral services for Merwin Dunham on Saturday. Family members from out of town were Ray and Fran Jessop and four children, Kanab; Sun Cha Hong, Linda and Minchol, Tae Su Lim, Salt Lake City; Joe and Lori Moss, CO; Bob, Alice and Boni Preece, Clearfield; Van J. Dunham, Gilbert, AZ; Tom Dunham, Kaysville and Ethan Dunham, Salt Lake City. Alice, Van J. and Tom are children of Van (deceased) and wife, Franca. Also Ethan Dunham, the son of Jay and Eva Lou (both deceased); Joan ' Cowles, North Salt Lake City; Sylvia Luker, Escalante; Alan Clarke, Salt Lake City; Dennis Jessop and Gladys Jessop. There were also many relatives and friends from the Bryce Valley area in attendance. atten-dance. We would like to thank Kathy Shakespeare of Tropic and her daughter, Krisette Roberts of Henrieville Hen-rieville and Wynona Henderson of Henrieville for adding their beautiful beauti-ful voices to the Cannonville Ward Choir for'the number sung in the service. Some choir members were experiencing colds and were unable to sing. Some were out of town also. Gail Fletcher visited her parents, Larry and Glenna Fletcher over the weekend. Joe Thompson and George Thompson made a business trip to Phoenix last week to check on equipment. Sam Pollock was the speaker in LDS Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Sun-day. Ward business conducted by Bishop Larry Fletcher was the calling call-ing and sustaining of Golden Johnson John-son as secretary to the High Priests Quorum. All of the Greg Hughes family except Ellie spent Saturday night at the home of LaMonte and Rita Twitchell and attended Priesthood and Young Women's meetings and Sunday School. They then went to Tropic to attend the missionary farewell for Wayne Ott. Doug and Tammy Twitchell and family and Karl and Lori Munford and their family came here to join Vaughn, Mae and Arjean Twitchell for a Super Bowl Party Sunday evening. Vaughn returned to the temple for another week. Mae, Arjean and Lori went down for temple sessions on Wednesday. The Young Women held their New Beginnings Program on Sunday Sun-day evening and everyone said is was beautiful. There were 39 in attendance and the parents were favored fa-vored with a beautiful program. Then they all enjoyed bananas splits. Andrea McCormick spent last week in Orlando, FL. She said it wasn't as warm and pleasant as she had hoped it would be but she had an enjoyable week anyway. |
