U Clive and Thelma liybee CliveAnd Thelma Bybee Celebrate 50 Years Together TROPIC The children of Clive and Thelma Bybee of Tropic will honor their parents with an open house to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 at the Tropic LDS Ward. The couple was married Feb. 8, 1951 in the St. George LDS Temple. Tem-ple. Clive F. Bybee was born Nov. 8, 1919 in Tropic to Levi and Ella Riding Bybee and has lived most of his life in Tropic. He owned and operated his own business in Tropic, where he spent 35 years working as a mechanic. He has served in many LDS church callings throughout his life and as Tropj LDS Ward Bishop for seven years. He enjoys working in his yard, in the church extraction program and spending time with his family. Thelma Quilter Bybee was born in Henrieville, a daughter of Harry and Mary Quilter. She attended high school in Tropic and met Clive while both were employed at Ruby's Inn. She enjoys crocheting, yard work and doing things for her children chil-dren and grandchildren. They have lived all their lives in i ropic witn tne light ot their nte being their family and the many years of family gatherings at the homestead. They are the parents of 10 children chil-dren and four foster Indian children including Gary (Kristine) Bybee, Santa Clara; Sharon (Chris) White, Santa Clara; Rick (Renon) Bybee, Tropic; Aaron (Julie) Bybee, Tropic; Kevan (Kassi) Bybee, Ogden; Og-den; MaryAnn Bybee, St. George; KaeLynn (Paul) Harward, Riverton; Craig (Brenda) Bybee, Riverton; Shawn (Karen) Bybee, Cedar City and Rhonda (C.J.) Fry. They have 46 grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and many foster grandchildren. Foster children are Mary Francis, Fran-cis, Rosie, Carol and Louise. , Everyone is cordially invited to their open house and asked to bring no gifts please. |
