Show ' By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 We rejoice with the AC Hammers Ham-mers who are now moved into their new home, although there are many boxes yet to be unpacked there are tomato and pepper plants growing in the greenhouse and much "stuff' to be planted. Since the first night in the house, guests have included Bill and Carolyn Stailey of Aztec, N M, and Jim and Ann Leigh of Kansas City, MO; friends of Jacob's Ja-cob's from Ricks College have also spent a weekend. Kathy Fletcher continues under strict doctor's care but she is doing well and will stay in Spanish Fork until the baby comes. Jacob Hammer spent last weekend in Clinton, UT visiting friends. Other relatives attending the baptism of Larry and Glenna Fletcher's granddaughter, Jessica Broderick in Spring City that were missed last week included Jerald and Gerri Broderick's family, LaVon and Janice Broderick and family and Bert and Shirley Broderick and family. fam-ily. While in Spring City, Glenna called Beth Wogan a former Cannonville Can-nonville resident who now lives in Spring City, and she wanted to know how everyone is and sends her good wishes to all. Miles Hayden and three children of Martinsville, IN visited Mike and Cookie Riffel and did a bit of sight-seeing. They also visited his brother Keith Hayden and family in Henrieville. Troy Riffel came from Panguitch and visited his parents Mike and Cookie and played the piano pi-ano for his mom. She loves to hear him play and he does it very well. Some of the single LDS Young Adults from Cannonville and Tropic went to Mesa, AZ for the Easter Pageant on the Life of Christ. It was held at the Mesa LDS Temple. Delon and Richard Fletcher, Connie Douglas and Vicky Pollock all attended. The girls stayed at the home of friends of Vicky's and the men stayed with their cousin Robert and Ruth Fletcher! Leon Fletcher, who is working in Mesa joined them for the activation which consisted of -a trip to the Hole-in-the-Rock and to the Phoenix Zoo. On the way back they encountered a heavy snow storm north of Kanab and were fighting snow all the rest of the way home. Speakers in Cannonville LDS Sacrament meeting Sunday were Golden and Roxanna Johnson. They both gave good talks pertaining pertain-ing to the life of our Savior with counsel on how He would have us ; live. 1 ;- ' Molly Comp, daughter of Joey and Colleen Comp was baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS church by her father on Sunday evening in Tropic. ' Minok Dunham spent several days last week visiting with her daughter and the grandchildren in Kanab. Gloria Clark went to Prdvo with her daughter Tonya Syrett for two days. Sunday she attended Church in Tropic for the blessing of a new little great-grandson. He is the son of Andy and Tawnee and his name is Hayes Andrew. He had two grandmothers and three great-grandmothers great-grandmothers there for the occasion. After the blessing, the group went to Ruby's Inn for a birthday dinrier and sang "Happy Birthday" to Gloria. Glo-ria. Joe and Rae Hughes spent the past week in Clarkston, WA. They were accompanied by Joe's sisters, Bessie Croft and Ida Tait and sisters in-law Ila Mae Blake and Nina Hughes. They received word that their mother is very ill with cancer. Rae said it snowed on them all the way up and back and she came home with the flu. Vaughn, Mae, Arjean and Cher-lyn Cher-lyn Twitchell attended the sessions of LDS General Conference in Salt Lake.
